CLIMACTION
Is a site-adaptable, modular performance co-created with local communities, students, activists, and young people. Set against the backdrop of a political landscape that often overlooks the climate emergency, this project brings people together—both in person and online—to take collective action. Through creative participation, it raises awareness and fosters a shared sense of responsibility, care, and hope for our one and only home: Planet Earth.
Why Now?
In an era of climate emergency, CLIMACTION uses creativity as resistance—making space for every voice and every story to matter. We believe that urgent action is needed, and that the arts are a powerful catalyst for change. By fostering inclusive, participatory experiences, CLIMACTION empowers communities to move from awareness to action, amplifying voices often excluded from the climate conversation.

Ana de Matos
Meet the Team
Ana de Matos (she/they) Queer filmmaker, kundalini yogi, founder of CAMEYE Studios and Cameye Arts CIC. With over 20 years of experience in arts-based filmmaking and a background in anthropology, Ana’s work is grounded in collaboration, participation, and the belief that the arts play a vital role in driving awareness and action.
Yael Karavan (she/her) Award-winning performer, dancer and director Yael Karavan blends Butoh, mime, physical and visual theatre; in site-specific works that explore cultural diversity and respond to socio-political issues – for the stage / outdoors – around the world.
